Bibi was originally trained as a primary school teacher and studied acting. She has extensive experience both
as a teacher as well as children's yoga instructor and is also an accomplished artist/writer.
She settled in Japan after publishers in Tokyo encouraged her to pursue her artistic talents as children's book artist/writer.
And the best thing of all is: "You do NOT have to be a facebook member to look at the above page!"
Bibi enjoys creating works for children which have a connection to the natural environment and it's beauty. One of her concerns is that the 'developed' and 'developing' worlds are progressing at such speed it hugely affects our natural environment. Over-production and waste are some of these reasons, quantity over-rides quality and sharing. Bringing back a sense of harmony, feelings and joy through her pictures is something the artist finds joy in.
Merry Christmas from Harinezumi and Kuma Chan to all the whole wide world!!! May this coming year bring peace and open peoples hearts!

Consciously living people everywhere understand that we need to SLOW DOWN and keep stock of what we have now, and encourage those who are not driven by pure greed.
Artistically Bibi continues on her creative path, exhibiting and sharing her work in and around Japan as well as internationally.
She has recently done a solo fund-raiser exhibition at LEVAIN and raised a substantial amount of money for an orphanage in the earthquake stricken Tohoku region. The exhibition has also attracted some amazingly wonderful people who have an interest and ear for her concerns. She has been invited to visit Japan's earthquake/tsunami ridden Tohoku region, to spend time with children who've had a very difficult time. This particular exhibition raised money for the Fujinosono Children's Home.
Coming soon . . . and so the story unfolds!
